Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov (1955)
Summary:

Humbert Humbert is a newly British man who moves to America to write a novel. IN his new found home, he seems to be fascinated and intrigued by Dolores Haze, who has an uncanny resemblance to his first love.

To be honest, this was a difficult book to read. The book was very cute, yet quite sad because I really think that Humbert was a sweet heart.
Dolores was so mean, but I don’t think I can totally blame her. She was sexually abused by a man nearly the same age as her dad! How weird could that be?
I seem to think that Humbert’s obsession with Annabel would be healthier than his obsession with Lolita.
